Why I Can’t Sleep at Night

The power of the creative mind is directly related to the degree to which it inhabits the truth.

All day long, I’m conscious of policing truth’s borders. When at night I fall asleep from exhaustion, the lies begin to worm their way in again. When I cycle back out of deep sleep at 3AM, their clamoring sets my mind back to work.

Can’t you give it a rest, guys?

No, not you, dear reader. Them.

“The power of the creative mind is directly related to the degree to which it inhabits the truth”

    • That’s a great question. I was looking around for something like that on my blog at Gaia today, but got interrupted by a stomach flu.

At heart, the statement reflections a perception of thought that caused me to say counsel my son’s that “Ideas are stronger when they are shared” and “You do really well making friends with people, and rely upon them to introduce you to ideas. Have you ever tried to make friends with the ideas directly? You’re a really nice person, and I think that they’d enjoy the association.”
